His brave brother Dash and sassy sister Tink love to tease him, but when a game of pirates leaves the three in danger and a sly predator creeps closer, it's down to Klink to muster his courage and prove that he is not a worrywart! Lorna Lovell Stallman lives in Des Moines, Iowa, USA, but grew up on a farm, which was a lot of hard work but also a lot of fun. She enjoyed helping with chores, even when it meant being chased by two incredibly rude sheep. Lorna tried to instill a love of country life in her two children and is still a farm girl at heart. She likes to include animals in her stories and lives with two of her favourite animals, English setter Phoebe and ragdoll cat Indigo.
Katrijn Jacobs is a Belgian illustrator who loves to draw. For her, drawing is the way to bring colour into the world. She gets her inspiration from her surroundings, people, emotions, animals, and plants. She transforms these things into playful, cheerful illustrations with a high sensitivity factor. She also works on art projects, murals, and personalised illustrations. Katrijn has already illustrated picture books for several publishing houses.
