Ester Dobiasova (*1993) is a bit on the flighty side. Her dream is to roam the world like Snufkin of Moominvalley – with but a few things, an open mind and heart, and a home to return to. When she wishes to transcend her imagination, she reads Shaun Tan. She loves the books of Daisy Mrázková, who goes back to nature and is not afraid to ask about the meaning of life – directly, to crystal-clear effect, in highly readable fashion. Her wish is to protect nature and the animals she loves to write about.

Jana Sedlackova is a children's book author who graduated from the School of Textile Design and Management in Liberec, Czech Republic. In her free time, she enjoys singing in choirs and decorating gingerbread during Christmas time. Her work is driven by the belief that everyone is searching for the perfect fairytale. She hails from Brno, Czech Republic.

Stepanka Sekaninova used to work as a TV reporter and in the production of children's programs. Now she is a writer and an editor-in-chief, living in the Czech Republic.

Marcel Kralik is a freelance visual artist specializing in crafting illustrations and concept art. After finishing business college in Bratislava, in 2003 he co-founded Outsider development s.r.o., a company focused on creation of videogame graphics. As well as being its lead artist, he was responsible for maintaining stylistic and technical standards, giving directions and helping other team members in the creation of art assets. In 2013, he began to commit fully to freelancing, working mostly on illustrations, texture painting and concept art for various clients and the advertising industry. Clients in his portfolio include Volkswagen Slovakia, VÚB Banka, Istropolitana Ogilvy and MUW Saatchi & Saatchi. In his work, he is most passionate about drawing for children's books, character creation and cartooning.
